WHAT IS THE EUCHARIST?
The Eucharist is the source and summit of the Catholic life. When we faithfully receive the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ, we grow deeper in communion with God and fellowship with one another. Our sacramental prep programs are designed as a journey for kids and their parents to take together. First Holy Communion preparation begins in early spring, and concludes with First Holy Communion in May. For your child to receive First Holy Communion, he or she must be enrolled in the Young Disciples Family Formation program for at least two consecutive years or in St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School.
